[C320-list] asymetric spinnaker or genneker

What you really need is a whisker or a spinnaker pole for going down
wind.  An A-Sail is also limited in how deep it can sail to about 150 -
160 degrees true before it also starts to collapse just like your jib.

With a whisker pole, you can run between 120 and 150 deg. off the wind
with the genoa poled out to the leeward side.  Beyond 150 degrees, you
pole the genny out to windward and sail wing-on-wing.

Either a whisker or a spinnaker pole is MUCH less expensive than an
asymmetrical spinnaker, and will give you a lot of the advantages for
down wind sailing.  (recognizing that a spinnaker WILL be faster and
will fill in lighter winds than a genoa needs).
