Can you adjust the pitch with the boat in the water?

Adam

Bruce and Adam

I didn't have any vibration problems like Bruce, but when i made my own
pitch change I was very careful to change each blade exactly the same
amount. I'm happy with it. This prop is unreal when backing down.
Something
i find useful. Slip it into reverse and with its very high pitch you'll
have
almost instant way on, and great rudder control, good for tricky cross
wind
conditions etc.

I had to back out of a marina last week under very strong cross winds. A

power boater next to me offered to take my bow line and walk me back
until i
was clear of the nasty rock breakwater, only 30 feet downwind of me. I
thanked him slipped it into reverse and backed out at 3-4 kts, as he did

nothing more than toss the bowline on board, his jaw agape.
