In 2001 and 2006 we held them at CYC in September and about 100

The interesting thing about planning ANY get together is that there is
NO perfect time to have it----ever try to have a 25 year high school
reunion???
There are a million reasons not to have it now--or ever.   The past few
times we have had the regatta ----how many people attended which times?
The key to timing is when will most owners attend?  Most folk will make
arrangements to attend what is important to them regardless of whatever
"inconvience" comes up.

Labor Day is early in 2008, (1 Sept), so the following weeked (5-7 Sept)

might be attractive from weather and crowding standpoints. The question
is 
how many members are we likely to lose because of school being back in 
session?
