Actually, what I have invented for C320's who sail in windy areas is an
unfolding prop. The more the wind goes up the more the prop unfolds thus
increasing wetted surface which increases drag and thus increases
control of the boat.  With the new unfolding prop you have to reef less
and lower the traveler less.

We originally were working on an automatically deployed sea anchor for
when the winds were going over 25K.  However, there were too many
technical issues and thus we decided to go with the unfolding prop.

If anyone would like to buy the patent on the "Autosee Anchor" please
e-mail me off list.
