You are correct. I connected my Garmin Map 76 last year an use it all the
time.

I am about to install our trusty Garman 48 to our new Autohelm.
I understand that on the back of the ST4000 there is 12v power (neg &
Pos) also NMEA in and out data connectors?
Is that right...
Has anyone connected a 48 to a Autohelm?
