[C320-list] Genoa Size

My gosh, someone actually wants to hear from me.

I use a stock 135% in the winter (usually the lighter winds in San
Francisco Bay). In heavier winds I first single or double reef the
main, and I have found that even in winds over 20 knots, a 135% with a
double reef main yields a very balanced helm and easy to steer boat.

I do not have a 150%.

I have a custom 100% and another sail that came with the boat that is
about 80%. I use the 100% most of the year.

Opinions solicited.

Bear has a 150% foresail which can certainly be an aid when the 'boys'
are racing her, but which is a bit much to handle for a spouse with
limited upper body strength who both wants to take part when gentle
cruising but who refuses to take the helm. For those days with the mate
when speed is not an issue, is a 135% small enough, or should I be
looking at a 120/125?

I would like to here from those who are using 135% or smaller jibs on a
regular basis...or Adam
