I think you might be confused.
 
Water storage is in the fore and aft fresh water tanks.  The hot water  tank 
is replenished from the fresh water tank that is valved open.  Using  hot 
water for lav flushes will not conserve water.
 
Allan's tank monitoring system covered the fore and aft fresh water tanks  
and the black water waste holding tank.
