  The joker valve is the problem. It`s a easy change best done with a empty 
  holding tank.
  I think the part is around $10.00 & I always keep a spare on hand. I gave 
  one to a frantic fellow sailboater In  Desolation Sound a few years back and 
  was treated to many Mount Gay rum & cokes.
