Always remember, the less heel on a 320, the faster it goes...if you
require foot bracing on this boat, you have way too much heel and are
slowing the boat down..

Greetings:
Another solution to the problem of a cockpit too wide for bracing is to
construct a removable brace. Using wood or Starboard, construct a panel
with the exact dimensions of the lowest hatch board. Attach to the face
of this board a wooden block of appropriate thickness and shape to make
a comfortable foot brace. When sailing actively install the board in
the companionway with the block facing into the cockpit. You now have a
brace for a single needy crew person sitting next to the sheet bags.
