Hi Annie

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Alignments were done by Sydney Catalina's man of all 
trades, Mark.

Norm's other man on the job 'James' looked at it on Friday and has traced to 
a loose stern gland or to the cutlass bearing...I have done 147 engine hours

will keep you posted.



Overall I have had an amazing number of problems and failures.

To mention the big ones that comes to mind:

a) Big raw water leak ... the one your mechanic warned you about .. happened 
... not a fun afternoon for me!

b) Gear box 'teleflex' cable froze and we were jammed in neutral while 
completing a 11pm tricky reversing manoeuvor into our pen!;

c) refrigeration has been replaced,

    as has the toilet pump,

d) no one on Sydney Harbor would fill the aluminium LPG bottle;

e) the steering s/s cable came off the quadrant when rounding a racing buoy 
and the rudder would not turn to take us around the starboard mark;

f) portside forward large cabin window has crazed and I have chased Norm 
since November to replace it;

g) the Delta anchor failed 3 out of the 5 times I used it and had to be 
replaced by a 35lb NZ Manson CQR anchor, works as it should - Norm paid for 
it ...



these are the problems which come to mind ... all in all Norm has largely 
come good on them ... it has taken some repeat emails, SMSs and phone calls 
and always a lot of time.
