[C320-list] Neutral or Reverse

If the prop shaft is turning because the gearbox is in neutral, then the
bearings at the skeg (cutlass bearing) and gearbox, and the water seal at
the gearbox (it's got a name), are wearing and there will be water dripping
into the bilge through that bearing. I understood that is the reason for
putting the gearbox into gear when sailing. Is there any accuracy in my
understanding?

Try it in reverse and listen.
