As readers of these posts know my first suggestion is to get a "dripless
shaft seal". That will reduce the time you will need to open the bilge.
Our bilge has been dry since new 7 years ago.

Subject: Re: [C320-list] bilge cover

Is there a better way to fix the bilge cover(s) other
than the multiple screws that are used (in many
lengths it seems). The covered compartments do not
fully drain into the bilge and it's nice to clean them
up pretty often. I have seen adds in the past for
fasteners for the sole that take only a 1/4 turn to
unfasten but can't seem to find them now. Has anyone
found an easier solution? Jim Brown "Desafinado"
