Yes, it will run the microwave.
 
Just watch total load or plug the microwave directly into generator  and 
isolate load..
 
 
I noticed another posting regarding noise level from anything other than a  
Honda.
 
If one reads my previous posting, I did in fact say the Honda's were the  
best I have seen regarding noise level.  I opted for a lesser cost model  based 
on why I was purchasing - emergency use.  I was not buying noise  level - just 
power.  Personal choice regarding generators will vary based  on an individual 
needs, wants, and desires.
