You have to wrestle with it a bit initially just to figure out how to work
it in but it will definitely fit... (damm, that sounds a lot like my high
school prom night!)

Orlando,
The port list  is increased with a 50 pound generator in the large
lazarette. Maybe I should try the aft starboard area again on sailscall (
#754).

Perhaps the newer models had a design change on those aft lockers but on
cuba libre 2 (#112), if you tilted it as you placed it on the shelf, it
would fit ok..a tight fit yes but a fit..

What about the port list when you put in the large lazarette?!!  I heard
there's a list on some of the 320's!! :)

That 2000 unit is the sweetest generator around, size/weight/noise level
are all optimal for a boat the size and use of the 320.

I agree about not getting the 1000 relative to overall usefulness but
again, that's a personal decision.

On cuba libre 3, that has a 8KW diesel generator installed, I will be
bringing the 2000 as a backup, just in case..you never know!

I have the Honda 2000 generator and found that it did not fit in the
starboard lazarette.I  store mine in the large port lazaratte. While the
Honda 1000 will probably fit in aft storage, it is much less useful, i.e.,
can not make hot water, minimal power for hair dryer, etc. I find the
Honda
2000 will simultaneously charge batteries,  make hot water and have some
reserve power for low draw 110 appliances. The generator may also
eliminate
the need for a separate starting battery.

You can store it in the aft starboard lazarette, on the shelf...just
