Bill,
An electricians snake should so the job. Find an electrician and borrow one
or rent it.
I don't know of any electrician that would not be happy to go on a sailboat
ride for the day.

Subject: [C320-list] Reefing Block inside boom

I am trying to reassemble my new (to me) Catalina 320, after dismantling the
boat to get it trucked from Lake Tahoe to Puget Sound. My '98 boat has
first and second reefing points. Are there two (2) reefing blocks inside the
boom, one for each reefing point? I found one block with a single line
coming from the second reefing point. My first reefing line pulled out at
the mast end of the boom. How does one get the line all the way through the
boom? I was thinking of safety pinning it to my outhaul rope, which is the
only rope I can see that goes all the way through.

Been sailing anyway without functioning reefing lines, which is not a great
idea but I couldn't help my self.
