[C320-list] Question on changing out the fuel filters

I have looked at a number of write ups on changing the fuel filters and bleeding the lines but have failed to succeed with my first attempt at the routine.

Can anyone offer some insight that may help me.  
  a.. 3 cyl Yanmar 
  b.. Racor R20P filter 
  c.. I see no manual pump on the Racor unit 
  d.. the handle on the manual pump mounted on the starboard side of the engine will not budge 
  e.. I bled the injector lines and the engine ran for about 5 minutes and stopped 
  f.. Further bleeding via turning over the engine (with comp. releases open) failed to get the fuel flowing 
  g.. I am pretty sure that I have air in the system but can not figure out a way to pump fuel
It will take two to three weeks for a repair service to show up and I would like to take another run at this and try to get back on the water as soon as possible.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

  For those interested, their is no shut off valve on the 200 series Racor's. The plastic nickel like plug is actually a vent plug. Here is Racor's comment:
