[C320-list] Move it please

FYI ....... the Gemini 105MC is CE rated (ocean passage). Many have completed successful Pacific and Atlantic crossings including builder/designer, Tony Smith, who made a challenging North Atlantic crossing in 2001 with 35' waves and Force 9 winds. I've owned a C320 and a Gemini 105MC. Both are reliable, seaworthy boats. In my opinion, the main differences are....... a) minimal heeling with a catamaran, b) considerably more space c) better protection from the elements at the helm, and d) a monohull sailboat will eventually sink if severely holed or swamped in a knock-down whereas the Gemini will float with one hull completely swamped or, in the event of capsize, will not sink due to internal flotation tanks. In a worst case scenario, the inverted hull of a catamaran serves as a rescue platform. That said, if I were going to undertake an ocean passage, I'd probably want a bigger, heavier monohull or catamaran than either of these boats.

If you're sailing in the ocean pass on the G105 and stick with the C320.

With that said, before looking at the Caliber 38's (whether or not they
exist) try a Gemini 105MKII, a roomier boat, and less than 1/2 the
  price.

Now, boys. Let's not use the list for repartee tête-à-tête. A comment
or two re. another boat should be tolerable. Extended discussion re.
non-C320 issues can be done privately.

  Thank you for your consideration.
