I have an  Australian  Hydralign 2 bladed feathering prop on my boat which will be 11 years old in December.  It has never given any problems whatsoever and I club race the boat every Saturday . Maybe if you only use your boat for cruising go for a 3 bladed Feathering prop but I know of cases where 1 blade of a folding prop has fallen off
