[C320-list] Dropping water temperature

Barry,
We are using a hand held IR thermometer to measure different parts of the
engine and the water. There is no heater on board (or fresh water) so we
have a valve that let's us harvest some of the hot water for washing dishes.
The 320 is so much more comfortable and you don't have to climb the rig
every time you want to get the sails out or put them away.
Bruce

I wonder if the 130 degree reading is a true reading. It is possible that
either or the sender and gauge may have been changed over the years and may
now be giving an erroneous reading. Has anyone actually measured the water
temp with an external thermometer. I think we all would like to take these
gauges as being gospel but I think that it is more a case of being a
relative indicator.
