Allan, don't disturb his belief in his lack of list.  Let me think that
I have somewhat of a control of my life and let him think he doesn't
have a to port.  These harmless little fantasies don't hurt anyone and
are quite harmless to society.

If you believe that you do not have a port list, the test to prove it is
simple.  When you haul the boat, compare the crud on the boot stripe at
the waterline on the port side to the virtual absence of crud on the
boot stripe at the waterline on the starboard side.  If both sides are
equally cruddy or clean, then I will buy that you don't have a port
list.  But I kinda' doubt it...  These things all came out of the same
mold.

My boat does not list at all...either to port or stbd.  I have two 4D  
batteries, no starting battery.
