I feel the need to comment on the point Herb is making, even though I know I run the risk of opening up a can of worms.
Some of us could care less about certain topics, and many threads carry on incessantly. So what? We all have the ability to self-censure. I hope we don't set the tone whereby we dissuade people from asking questions or offering opinions for fear of being admonished or ridiculed.
I just hope we can maintain an environment where anyone feels they can ask any question pertinent to our boats and boating in general.
Regards,
Jon Vez
