[C320-list] Bilge Spaces

The other significant source of water in my bilge was overflow from the freshwater tanks via the inspection ports on top of the tanks.? This problem was solved by using teflon pipe thread tape on the threads.? Others have used a pipe thread "goop" product from Home Depot which is reported to work better than the tape.

Part of the issue is to keep water out of the 320. Install a dripless shaft seal if you dont have one. It's a big improvement. Then vacuum out that area once every 2-3 years to get out the water that may come in from other sources.?
