Mike,
We just dealt with this issue and had exactly the same issues. I used a garden hose with city water presure to apply presure into the drain hole in the shour sump. What I found was that there was lots of junk in the hose right b4 the filter.
If you then take a very small screw driver you can dig out all the junk from the very narrow slit inside the body of the filter.
Once I did this the pump works fantastic.
While the filter is installed with the correct direction of flow according to the manufacturer I'm thinking of flipping it 180 degrees. If the dirty water entered into the center of the filter there would be nothing to restrict the flow and once the water has been filtered the narrow exit for what now would be the out flow should not be a problem. The other thing making the current set up less than ideal is that gravity exasterbates the problem as the inflow is straight up into the narrow filter inlet.

Subject: [C320-list] Shower/Refrig. drain pump

My pump runs but neither the shower or the refrig. drains. Cleaning the filter did not help. Do I need to prime the pump? There is not any water in the filter. Any suggestions on how to best clear any possible clogs in the lines?

Thanks,
Mike Paris
