 The older furling have a much smaller drums that is why they de-cored the line in the earlier models.? When it is blowing 25+ the larger line make a differences. JOHN? Holokai 2

John,
Not sure you need the tapered line unless you are trying to get as much weight 
off the boat as possible.  We have a full core line and a 155.  We have more 
than enough room on the drum for the line.

I would like to replace my furling line with the tapered one. It was blowing 
like stink the other week and I missed that extra thickness.? I'm to busy to do 
the line myself,? but I think someone mention a place to buy the line pre-cut 
and cored removed to the right length. Can some one please tell me where they 
got it or the size line and length to use and how much core ( feet) is taken
