Bryan, I am not aware of any mounting location other than the lazarette. I
bought a new Xantrex 20+ on E-Bay for about 2/3 the West Marine price. I
also had a promariner fail twice and one failure cost me a set of batteries.
I think that if you are going strictly for charging (no inverter) the
xantrex is the way to go.

The battery charger on Hull #627 is located in the port lazzarette, attached
to the galley bulkhead.  Do any of the older or newer models have their
charger mounted in a different location? Also looking for recommendations on
the best place to purchase a Xantrex charger as my Promariner is tits
up...AGAIN!
