The wheel assembly of my 11 year old Raymarine autohelm recently stopped 
working.  I think the motor is done.  Has anyone purchased the new Raymarine

smart pilot x-5?  Also do you know if the MKII wheel assembly sold with this

unit is compatible with the ST4000 control head (ie: plug and play)?  It 
would be nice to just replace the wheel assembely now and upgrade the rest 
after sailing season since the control head seems to be working fine but it 
never seems to work that easily for upgrades.
