Have you tested the controller to ensure it has failed?

Mine showed signs of failure but it turned out to be a looose ground which caused a low voltage 
situation which will cause the compressor to try to start but fail.

Google brings up many sites where I can buy an entire new compressor (and it may 
come to that) but no info on the controller itself or where to buy it.  

There was a string last year where it was mentioned that the controllers fail 
fairly often and someone had found a replacement.
