I have the Autostream Prop and love it. Power in reverse is unbelievable.
You don't have to worry about running aground so much. Once I ran aground
hard with another sailboat we were traveling with. It took me less than a
minute to get off, took him an hour until the tide came up.
I am in saltwater and have never had a problem with the Stainless Steel. You
do really have to make sure the zinc on the shaft and one on the prop are
kept up or electrolysis can damage the prop.

Subject: [C320-list] Feathering Prop

I have decided to buy a feathering prop. It was that or the 60" LCD TV.
Only on this website will people say I am not nuts. Anyway, I have narrowed
it down to a Variprop or Autostream. I am leaning towards the Autostream
because it is about $300 less, but it is Stainless Steel. Does anyone know
of any pros or cons on a stainless steel prop. I had a stainless steel prop
on my powerboat and it was great.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks... Doug Stieber, Second Chance #406
