So pull the wind speed cable back down the mast with a messenger attached
and pull it back up with 2 messengers attached, one tied off at the bottom
and the other used to pull the wind speed cable back up with!

When I bought my C320 #882 in 2005 it had a thin messenger line all the way 
up the mast that I (or my rigger actually) used to pull the windspeed cable 
up throught the mast. Unfortunately the guy didn't think to add another when

he used it so now I don't have one.
