Holly,

It's not necessarily a leak. If there is no fresh water collecting in the
bilge it might be a bad check valve or whatever mechanism is built into the
pump to maintain water pressure on the output side.

We also had a leak at the water inlet on the Hot Water Heater. The nylon
fitting was cracked, changed it out and stopped the leak. Initially very
hard to detect as is it was wrapped with Teflon tape. Enough to cycle the
pump and empty the tank in about a weeks time.

I have hull #266 & had that problem. It was the hot water tank that had a
small leak on the bottom of the tank. Had to replace the tank. When I
removed the tank it had gunk in the bottom, problely form poor water quality
in the Gulf Islands and Desolatoin Sound area of British Columbia.

Hello,
I recently bought a 1995 320 and find that the water pump keeps turning on
for a few seconds about every thirty seconds. I've searched the archives,
but can't find this addressed anywhere. The shutoff valves are located
under the sink. I think this is a good thing as I saw the discussion about
moving them there. However the forward one is frozen in the open position
and the aft one in the closed position. I can not seem to find anywhere
that has these particular valves. I found some that say they are 15mm, but
my diagram says they are 1/2 inch.
Any information will help. Thank you. Holly
