[C320-list] Garmin 230 Chartplotter

Guys,
Our 2001 #851 Garmin GPS230 chartplotter is trying to die.

1. What is the chartplotter that Catalina is now supplying with their
current production?

2. With what manufacturer and model number have other C320  owners used to
replace their old chartplotters?

3. Did the replacement have the same multi-pin power and seatalk connector
that Garmin used with the GPSMAP 230 with no changes?

4. Did the replacement fit in the same navpod as the 230 chartplotter even
though the cutout may have to change?

5 Were there any problems with their new chartplotter communicating with the
Raymarine instruments and auto-pilot?

Would appreciate any info you guys might have
