[C320-list] I have a hot stuffing box...

I made a tool from a small pick by bending the point over. However, because
the old packint was so old and compressed, I used a decking screw and pulled
it out with pliers. It was a job getting it all out as you can't really see
in there.

This year, I added another ring, didn't remove any just added another ring.
With age, the stuff compresses. A locally respected boat mechanic told me he
never removed the old stuff, just puts in new.

Don't know about the gortex stuff but a straightened fish hook (not
barbless) can grab and pull out the old flax stuff pretty effectively. Just
