[C320-list] Perkins Engine Temp

Thanks everyone. Last weekend we sucked up some weeds and had to replace an
impeller; then the engine kept running at 190. We thought that was too hot,
but we were comparing it to a Yanmar which runs cooler. Everything looks and
sounds like it is running fine; we were just concerned about the temp. But
it sounds like it is fine. Thanks again.

Subject: [C320-list] Perkins Engine Temp

My 1994 M30 with almost 2,000 hours runs at 175-180 depending on Bay water
temp., and does so all day long. One wonders how accurate the water temp
gage is for purposes of comparing one to the another.

What does your indicate?

For all owners with a Perkins engine: What temperature does your engine run
at under normal load?
