[C320-list] Full tank smell

I had this problem--my leak was in the same spot. You will need to remove
the wood trim around the opening in the aft cabin. Once the fuel is removed,
it is a pretty straightforward job. The hardest part is removing the floor
above the tank--but it is doable...good luck...

Subject: Re: [C320-list] Full tank smell

We just spent two weeks in the Bahamas dealing with a diesel leak. I did
the same thing with the absorbent towels, actually used baby diapers. The
fuel
is leaking from the tank, port forward corner. The tank also moved
forward
1" and the strap holding the tank down is loose. We are pumping out the
fuel tomorrow to remove the tank. I understand someone mentioned the tank
will
come out thru the opening in the aft cabin???? Has anyone removed their
fuel
tank? Any suggestions?? Also the tank is not 20 gallons as stated by
Catalina, it is 19 gallons.
Wish us luck....
