[C320-list] Engine control problem

David,
On mine there is a U-bolt in the engine compartment on the throttle cable.
If your throttle is so lose that it is slipping you can tighten (lightly)
the U-Bold and it will stop the slipping.

Whatever you do don't spray the throttle side with wd40 The throttle slipped
for a year after I did that once.

Ever since I have owned the boat. the gear lever would rotate slightly in
the same direction that I move the throttle. The problem is now getting
worse and last week the boat did not go into reverse the first time when I
was docking. Maybe that was a hint that I should not continue to ignore the
problem. Anyone else have this problem and what was the fix?

Thanks,
Bill
