[C320-list] Attaching jib sheets

I did as OD did and bought a one piece sheet and passed each end thru the
loop and that was that. I have a 150 and the sail does not catch on the
shrouds as the bowlines did. You will need a fid to remove it though, as it
becomes quite tight.

We've been using bowline since we got the boat. No problems, but then we
have a 135 genoa.

Our bowlines have about a 5" loop so they don't tend to make a big knot
right at the clew.

You can put a 2-3" eye splice in the jib sheet and pass the line through the
clew, then through the eye splice and back to the turning block. There's a
right and left version of this that will be obvious when you do it. One way,
it hangs up on the shroud, the other way it doesn't. The only down side to
this is that you can't change jib sheets without a lot of aggravation
running the tail all the way forward, but it is cleaner.

Bowline...no problem catching...might be a timing issue. Try sheeting in a
little slower as the boat powers up.
