Haven't been to the BVI in a while have you Adam. Pussers has stores and rum
bars on several of the islands. They used to publish their own small paper
with their drink recipes and local lore.

Oh, they're still around...the company president is a long time member of
our YC...they donate 7 flagons for the class winners then they also donate
these cool ceramic hip flasks that are given out to winners of various
perpetual trophies.

They also donate Pussers orange caps, metal mugs that are personalized for
the race each year...also they donate tons of mixes for our pre-race
Painkiller party..

My gosh. They came out with Pussers when I was in law school back in the
very late 70's.  I haven't seen the product for quite awhile and to be
candid I didn't know they were still around.

I'm not thinking that at all, we have a sponsorship deal with Pussers Rum
for this race and the trophies I hand out (I'm the race chairman) that they
donate are those Pussers ceramic flagons and I always drive them down to San
Diego...

Heck, Bellezza (hull #822) has won it twice in the last three years...they
have bookends.....
