I just went to the race tracker site and see the race starts today.  I
thought the race started last Friday.  I guess you cannot finish before the
start time. 

If you get a chance to see this before departure - fair winds and good
sailing.

Chris,

By now you should be tied up at the Malecon in Veracruz.  Did they build the
Marina as they promised two years ago?  I did the race in my 320 last in
2006.

I'm participating in the 600NM race from Galveston to Veracruz, Mexico.  1st
gun is tomorrow at 2PM off the coast of Galveston.  I'm sailing in PHRF Spin
A aboard "La Isla", a 57' C&C.
