Rick,

The 150% Genoa was $2560.00 with foam luff ( probably would not get the foam luff again as I rarely reef the genoa)

The main with full battens,?all slip slides, and duchman $3195.00

These prices were in 2004, with the sail being made at there overseas loft. A sail make came from Annapolis MD (?Quantums main loft and office) to where the boat is in Atlantic City, NJ to talk to me about what I wanted and measure the boat. If I wanted to have the sails made in the US loft the price was several thousand more.

These sails made a major impovement in the boats upwind pointing, picked up about 5 degrees, and I have had full sail out in 20 plus knort winds with no problems of feeling overpowered like the old sails that goth a little baggy at the higher wind range..

Rick,

I got a new set of sails?4 years ago, and went with a loose footed main, I would
highly recommend it.??I still have the ?Dutchman and it works fine. The sail
maker or Dutchman made two pockets with the rope bolt in them. The are separate
from the sail and slide into the boom track to act as the anchor points.

The sails were made by Quantum out of MD. Full batten Main, both the Jib and
Main are Radial construction and used Pentax as the material.

I just started PHRF racing my c320 in Western Long Island sound. I was
wondering if anyone can give me some advise on cruising/racing sails they
may have upgraded to?

I got some quotes from doyle but I am unsure what to go with. My main
questions have to do with the main

1. Loose footed or not?
2. Full battens or not?

I love and want to keep the dutchman and want to know if anyone has used it
on a loose footed main
