This thread screams for looking a gently used boats. Tons of them out there. 
We purchased ours used and were surprised to see what we got with it. Kind 
of like a second Christmas. Came with dink and motor, spinnaker and pole, 
RAM, grill, complete canvas package, tons of repair parts including extra 
filters, a very serviceable second set of sails, tools, flags, life jackets, 
you name it. Luckily this was the last boat for the previous owner so 
everything boat related he had came with it.

So, I'd always look for one of those vs. new. This is boat number 7 and all 
were used.
