[C320-list] Insurance Question

I ran into them at the San Diego Boat Show the first weekend in Jan...just so happened that my regular policy with Allstate was renewing in March....I had them give me a quote and I was very happy with their price.

Another positive aspect, for me anyways, is that they will also insure me once we start cruising...they will find the underwriters for Mexico, South Pacific, etc.

Like I said before Ed Arajo, ex-Catalina marketing guy, is a VP there and is very helpful and obviously, is very familiar with our lines of boats

I went with a company that advertises in Mainsheet, they claim to have good
deals for Catalina owners...checked them out first and liked them...an
ex-Catalina guy, Ed, works for them now--they are a broker for several
companies, I got a good deal thru them from Markel American Insurance Co and
for $425K agreed to value, I pay $1.780...no haul out...
