[C320-list] Refinishing the cabin sole

Thanks for the explanation.
I'm considering doing my steps because they need it.
Someone mentioned that they had to do theirs twice because they didn't do 
enough the first time.
Are the steps as sensitive as the cabin sole?  Or should the steps be 
completely stripped down to the wood?
