Timothy,

Mounted a whisker pole ring shortly after purchasing my boat in 99. Think it
was a Perko but not sure. Measure the mast width and find a ring that fits
the width. I drilled and tapped the mast to accept 1/4 x 20 machine screws
and bolted the rectangular plate. I had to bend the plate to conform to the
mast curve and drilled incrementally to not penetrate the mast and drill a
hole in anything inside the mast. Not a big deal, but as usual, measure
twice, drill once.
