Yeah, when i re-read it, it does sound like you suggest. :) Oh well, my kids 
are mostly grown now, but more than once i have wanted to bounce them off 
something, and still our many years of family vacations on the boat have 
been full of wonderful times spent together.

But I don't want to clutter the list with non-technical ramblings; what 
about  if a I start a technical thread on anchor chain vs rope. That should 
be good for a few days of discussion.

Always appreciate your take on things, brings the occassional smile even to 
my face. :)
