[C320-list] Halyard washing??

Oxiclean works great too. Use small amount and rinse well. Lines will look
like new.
Tried it once without the bag and spent a weekend untying this incredible
knot. Don't know how random motion can make such an intricate snarl.

A sail maker told me once that washing all your lines and putting on new
sunbrella are the highest payoff things to do before selling your boat.
Apparently people pay more attention to lines and fabric than sail or motor
condition.

Mesh bags--very important...if you don't have them, Bed, Bath & Beyond

Thanks Orlando--they're off the boat for the winter so I figured instead
of
sitting in the dock box till spring I would get the salt and dirt
off...I'll
give the woolite a try...

Make sure you run a messenger line...then put them in a mesh bag with
Woolite and some fabric softener...they come out like new...

Do it once a year for your jib/genoa sheets if nothing else...
