[C320-list] Air Conditioning

Our first weekend on the boat was in July, the hottest weekend of the
year. Our AC has its own 30A circuit. However, our slip had only one
circuit. The previous owner used a y-splitter to connect two shore
power cords to the one circuit at the slip. The breaker was tripping
quickly and often. I made it through the night by "borrowing"
electricity from neighbors who were not out that weekend (that is to
say that my shore power cord reached their outlet). Our marina ran an
additional circuit before the next weekend.

Bottom line is that the original poster should at least plan where an
additional circuit would be run.
