[C320-list] knot meter

How did you determine that the Zebra mussels were attached? The thru hull
seems too long to feel anything using fingers or did you assume something
was there and acted accordingly.

I had the same problem last year with my knot meter. I pulled the sender
and it worked perfectly as long as it wasn't in the hole, but in the hole it
would not work. It turned out that there were Zebra mussels attached to the
thru hull fitting just forward of the paddle wheel and they blocked the flow
of water over the sender. I used a bent coat hanger through the hole to
knock them off. It worked perfectly after I removed the Mussels.
