Allan, Adam, et al,

Adam also got #9 right - so double his score. I you recall, the
writer of the article installed lee cloths in the main salon because
they needed the fore and aft berths for storage and because pitching
in the V-Berth would be "intolerable" as he also thought would be the
heat and engine noise in the aft cabin.

Overall, I think we need to look at how this writer framed his story.
His profession is outfitting sailboats for offshore voyaging.
However, he admits that the only other extended passage on a boat of
this type (production boat with wing keel and spade rudder) was
skippering a Beneteau 51 across the South China Sea from Manila to
Hong Kong. That boat basically fell apart on him (mast folded above
the upper spreaders, and the engine failed), and he states that "this
Catalina passage was twice as long, but certainly easier all around."

Once again, BWS told me they would post this article on their website
around 11/1.

I think I made out the name today of the cruising 320 moored in Spa
Creek - it looks like "Maria". So, Maria, if you're out there, please
apprise us of your cruising plans, and maybe give us some insights
into your experiences cruising on a 320!
