I am a huge believer in intellectual property rights having worked for 20th Century Fox for many years and in being in the IT business for such a long time... I have never copied PC programs, bought bootlegged CD's or DVD's, etc

So to me, if there's an interesting article that's not posted on a website, I would actually go out and buy the magazine...

Probably not legal.  You would be changing the format for the purpose of sending it out to others.
