True but what they don't tell you is after you switch it off there is still
a small amount of fuel in the float bowl of the carby.  The on-off switch
seems to cut the ignition as well as the fuel so you can't run the carby
dry.  Thus, when you tip the unit up to get it down the port lazarette
hatch, this fuel spills out and leaves petrol fumes for a while.
